Bay City Roller
A blended Scotch old-fashioned with Averna, a little simple syrup, and an orange twist. It is off-dry and strong at about 25% ABV.

Faithful Scotsman
A blended Scotch sour with peach liqueur, pineapple and lemon juices, and cumin syrup. It is tart, medium-sweet, and moderately strong at about 16% ABV.
- Same: Blended Scotch, stirred into a double rocks glass.
- Different: 1.5 oz Scotch; peach liqueur, pineapple, lemon and cumin syrup instead of Averna and simple syrup; over a large cube with a pineapple leaf.
Stinger
A Cognac drink with white crème de menthe and a little simple syrup, served on the rocks with mint. It is off-dry and fairly strong at about 18% ABV.
- Same: 2 oz spirit with 1 tsp simple syrup in a double rocks glass.
- Different: Cognac instead of Scotch; crème de menthe instead of Averna; short shaken over crushed ice with mint.
Blue Run Sling
A bourbon sling with Averna, apple and lemon juices, vanilla syrup, and orange bitters. It is lightly tart, sweet, and moderately strong at about 14% ABV.
- Same: Whisky with .25 oz Averna and an orange garnish.
- Different: Bourbon instead of Scotch; apple juice, lemon, vanilla syrup and orange bitters; shaken into an ice-filled highball.
